Core Classes

These courses will be required for cadet status.

Introduction to 12th Fleet

  • This course will teach cadets about the 12th fleet.
  • This course will be normally be held in the Auditorium.

Introduction to Divisions

  • This course will teach cadets about the different divisions that 12th Fleet has to offer.
  • This course will normally be held in the Auditorium.

History Courses

  • History 101: This will teach cadets about the prime directive and why it's important.
  • History 102: This will teach cadets about the different types of starships that are allowed within the 12th Fleet by doing their first presentation.

Ship Study Courses

  • Bridge Orientation: This course will orient the cadets to the bridge of the Perseus. The cadets will be allowed to play with the consoles after reviewing each of the duties that are associated with the console.
  • Bridge Understandment: This course will teach cadets what to expect while on the bridge of a ship, chain of command, and commands that are given.

Major Courses

These are the allowed majors within the academy at this point.

Independent Studies: An cadet or an officer can take this course. This course is an independent study where the person takes a specific part of their designated major and specialize in an area. It is OPEN to all majors. Ex: Medical - Telepathy Specialty. This specialty was done by Vice Admiral Kalayna when she was taking courses in Starfleet.

Medical

  • Medical 101: This course is required for ALL majors. This gives the basics of combative medicine.
  • Medical 102: This course teaches medical cadets how sickbay works, their equipment, and get some helpful notes that will help them during their career at 12th Fleet.

Science

  • Science 101: This course will teach about quadrants, star classifications, and planet classifications.
  • Science 102: This course will teach about lab rules, the chain of command, and the science rulebook.

Engineering

  • Engineering 101: This course will teach diagnostic levels and the types of ships in the fleet.
  • Engineering 102: This course will talk about Propulsion system, fuel system, reaction chambers, and coil assemblies. It will also touch on dilithium crystals and quantum slipstream drive.

Operations

  • Operations 101: This course will teach about what operations do during visitors, sensors, and who to call in.
  • Operations 102: This course a simulation of learning what to do on a ship or base.

Security / Tactical

  • Security 101: This course will teach about types of alerts, types of weapons, the security station, and the tactical station.
  • Security 102: This course will teach about jurisdictional limits, procedures, general rules, and security clearance.

Ranked Officers School Majors

This is for officers who obtain Lieutenant or Lieutenant Commander. They will not be accepted before this rank. Command School must be completed before going to commander rank. Command School must be completed also before trying for counselor of a ship.

Command Courses

  • Command 101: This course will talk about leadership and general orders.
  • Command 102: This course will be the advance course of engineering.

Counseling Courses:

  • Psychology 101: This will teach the school of thoughts in psychology.
  • Counseling 101: This will teach the responsibilities as a counselor and the ethics.

Minor Courses

There is only one course for these normally and must be completed in conjunction with a Major.

Marines

  • Marines 101: This course will teach basic combat knowledge will be taught in this course.

Diplomatic Corps

  • Diplomacy Course: This course teaches how to be diplomatic in situations.

Optional Courses

There are optional courses we add in time to time to assist in what the fleet needs at the time. These are subject to change or be added.

Introduction to Roleplay

  • This course will teach the basics of roleplay such as what is roleplay, emoting, godmoding, metagaming, and etiquettes that the fleet follows.

Introduction to Relay for Life

  • This course will teach what is the relay for life, american cancer society, the chain of command in relay, and invites you to join us in relay for life.

Mission Writing Course

  • This course will teach the basics of writing a good mission. This course is subject to change based on the teacher.
