Command Division

Often taken from other divisions as their careers mature, members of the Command Division are skilled in any number of fields, from Tactical, to Engineering, to Science or Medical. These often diverse talents and skills are what make officers in the Command track so very versatile and valuable. They are also, what allow Command officers to make the decisions that are needed in the often, critical few seconds of a crisis. They have learned what is needed to succeed, and often of more importance, how and when to hand the reins to another, to delicate certain tasks and use not only their talents, but those of their staff, to snatch success from the jaws of mediocrity. People who in other careers would be considered, the jacks of all trades, or, less charitably, unfocused, once given the red of command, become the rigid back bone upon which the fleet relies to stand. This division is an earned position.
